Total Area Covered 4000 Hectares under Sprinkler Irrigation
2000 Hectares Under Drip Irrigation
Agronomic Support Under the APMIP project, all the farmers are given Agronomic support which comprises of training of farmers in topics such as Irrigation Scheduling, Fertigation, Crop Protection, Cultural practices in each crop , crop literature and follow up. The Agronomic support is given through Horticulturist & Agronomist and by Agricultural field officers. Each district was supported with one Agronomist , one Horticulturist and 2- 5 field officers. Farmers were also trained in Maintenance of the systems.
After Sales & Maintenance Support Under the APMIP project, Farmers were trained in Maintenance of the systems and each farmers were provided Maintenance manuals in Local language.
Design Support Under APMIP projects, all the designs were done by Centrally located Design Dept and each farmers were supplied Design Maps in AutoCAD format.
